My Hero Academia has already been turned into more than a few video games, but those have been largely fighting games or mobile RPGs. My Hero Ultra Rumble marks Academia’s first foray into the crowded multiplayer battle royale genre, pitting the likes of Deku and All Might against the fearsome presence of Fortnite. Does My Hero Academia have what it takes to survive against that kind of competition? Looking at today’s announcement trailer, it’s hard to say. There’s certainly enough crossover between the two games, with My Hero Ultra Rumble also presenting itself with a third-person over-the-shoulder camera.
